National March for Life and accompanying events April 18-19, 2026
- Bringing of the Icon of Our Lady from Gdańsk to Warsaw by the Knights of Columbus to the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Pauline Monastery - the Jasna Góra Sanctuary of Mother of Life
- Ceremonial installation before the evening Mass
- Holy Mass at 5:00 PM
- After the Mass, an evening vigil led by the Knights of Columbus and other groups involved in the protection of life and families, under the direction of Father Samuel Karwacki, subprior of the monastery and national moderator of the Spiritual Adoption movement.
- The vigil is scheduled to end at approximately 10:00 PM.
- Sunday, approximately 10:30 AM - the Icon will be transferred to the Archcathedral Basilica by the Knights of Columbus.
- Ceremonial introduction of the Icon of Our Lady into the Basilica.
- Holy Mass at 11:00 AM.
- After Holy Mass, the Spiritual Adoption of a Child at Risk of Extermination will begin.
- After Holy Mass, the Act of Entrustment to Our Lady for the Protection of the Civilization of Life and Love, which has been recited in 32 countries, will be renewed.
- The Icon of Our Lady will be carried to Castle Square, accompanied by the Knights of Columbus at the head of the March.
- The Icon will be carried in the March, solemnly accompanied by the Knights of Columbus.
- The Icon will be carried by Knights of Columbus in patriotic ranks, wearing uniforms and bearing swords. - Knights in white and yellow sashes form a lane on either side of the Icon of Our Lady.
- The march returns to Castle Square, where the Icon is placed, and the faithful have the opportunity to approach the Icon and pray privately during the closing speeches.
