Here She was received by the Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament who welcomed Our Mother with a street of rose petals and escorted Her to the side of the main altar, where they adorned Her with flowers and tablecloth.
Due to the debate pending in the National Assembly on the decriminalization of abortion, Monsignor Luis Cabrera, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Guayaquil, has asked all the faithful to redouble their prayers so that Our Lord hears the supplications of his people and does not approve the death penalty for the most defenseless.

On Tuesday, Holy Hour was held in front of the Blessed Sacrament from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., for the intentions requested by Mon. Cabrera.
